Artist’s Statement :
The Visual Metaphors Of Abstract Expression

Constant channel changing and info updating are the norm of the modern-day people, whose spiritual life is nothing but a continuum of a disorderly string of fragmented eerie images extracted from television and Internet ; and this is also how we build our own fantasy world.

When the individual or the entity of self disappears, the era of anxiety and depression dawns, and what Roland Barthes once called the "death of the author" is now realized. In this flat world, where channels are constantly changed and the surplus of information overflows, people seem to have seen something and nothing at the same time. Art remains intact, and people who love art still express themselves with unreduced enthusiasm. The gist of art is the free expression of one’s inner spirit.

Knowing how precious art is, I have always kept it close to heart. In essence, life is composed of true pain and disillusionment, but when we turn to the graphic world of art, we are bringing an oasis to the mind, where all contradictions and failures in reality are disregarded, and the freedom of spirits protected.
